ABOUT MEG
Finding a photographer you vibe with is huge, so here’s a little bit about me.
GET TO KNOW ME
I’m an elopement + intimate wedding photographer located in Northern California - currently out in Walnut Creek, CA. I spend a lot of time exploring NorCal gems like San Francisco, Big Sur, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and even more time with my husband Zeke and our sassy toy poodle named Teddy. When I’m not shooting, I am probably hiking, climbing, singing along to Tiny Desk Concerts or show tunes, catching the latest movies in theatre, or - honestly - just sleeping in.
I am an INFJ who really loves spending time with others, but also really loves some good recharge time at home. I get inspired by being outside and away from all the crowds. My favorite places are national parks - Yosemite, Rainer, + Red Rock Canyon are top of my lists - and hiking is probably the only form of exercise I truly enjoy. I love watching comedies and all kinds of movies, and you can often find me listening to some indie music or a funny true crime podcast. I thrive on making to-do lists and planning out fun travel itinerary and timelines.
When I head into a wedding or session, my main goal is to create a low-stress, enjoyable experience where even the most awkward photo-takers can have fun and get amazing photos captured. I like to play games, plan activities, encourage exploration, and do everything I can to help foster authentic, natural interaction in front of the camera. I love candid, fun, happy photos, but I also love epic posed landscape shots. I love to match my couples’ energy. If you’re the silliest, goofiest, most high-energy couple - then I want the photos to capture that. If you’re more quiet, thoughtful, and grounded, then we’ll focus on cozier moments. Let’s capture what’s true to you, and have fun doing it.
If you want to talk to me about photo sessions, dogs, national parks, your favorite songs, your hopes and dreams, whatever, head to my contact page & say hello!
all love is welcome here <3
