Brenna & Jimmy - Record Player Styled Session in Brentwood, CA

Hello! After a small hiatus I am back to blogging. Here's a small life update:

-I traveled to DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia for 2 weeks with my boyfriend. We had a lot of fun, but got there just in time for some really cold weather, so much of our vacation was spent inside museums and restaurants and anywhere that wasn't outside.

-I graduated with my BA in Psychology from SF State. I am currently a college graduate (woohoo!). Funny though, I already am signed up for two more classes at a local college - what can I say? I actually really like school.

-I am now offering a new package for couples... half day sessions! More info to come on that. These are for special occasion sessions and for couples who want to really explore an area and spend half a day exploring places like Yosemite, SF, Point Reyes, Big Sur, whatever!

-Life is busy, but today I got to hang out with my boyfriend and my dogs which was a pretty fun day.

I got to work on some awesome stuff the last few months, and wanted to start sharing some of those sessions. The session below was with Brenna Enos & Jimmy Darling. When we first started talking, we were throwing around some ideas. I had known Jimmy briefly in high school, and knew he was very interested in music, so I threw out an idea for a vinyl picnic theme. They were willing to go along with my idea so we brought along a record player, blanket, and some of their favorite records - including The Beatles & Neutral Milk Hotel!! The light also did not disappoint and we had beautiful golden lighting towards the end of the session. These photos were taken at Creekside Park in Brentwood, CA.

Thank you for reading! If you want to plan a styled session, please feel free to head over to my contact page.

Also, a big thanks to Jimmy (@hipeponymousjim) & Brenna (@brorenna) for being so patient with me on the shoot and bringing lots of creative ideas to the day.
